lol yeah, I was putting the DVD on so my brothers could watch it about a year ago and when I was reading the back of the case I was like "...and Hugh Laurie stars as- WAIT WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK??" and then I watched it and was like "WOW that totally is Hugh Laurie!". I had literally watched that movie a dozen times before and never made the connection.

Maybe your reasons are completely different anon, but I used to find that movie horribly sad because I know with how awful Parkinson's is, and grew up loving Michael J Fox. At the time the movie came out, he'd resigned from Spin City and it seemed like voice acting was going to be the only kind of performance he'd be able to do anymore, and even that he might not keep up for long. That combined with his Stuart voice being so small and kind really got to me.

But since then he's been on Scrubs and The Good Wife and other things, and he played the Johnny B Goode guitar solo at a Parkie's benefit recently, and he's released books filled with positivity and strength and instead of being another source of Parkinson's induced misery he's become a personal hero for me. So, maybe I could cope with Stuart Little now. :P
