Have you seen the way Andrea looks at Shane?? She wants on that dick.

They're totally going to happen. I don't think it'll last, but I'm like 99% sure they're going to fuck at some point, and it's going to be hot.

Came here to say that I was getting the vibe that they were going to get together at some point too

I must be blind... I swear I haven't even seen them look at each other/hold a conversation. :/ Then again, I hope Shane keeps slipping into crazyville and gets eaten. XD

Have you not seen any of season two? Shane has been teaching Andrea how to clean her gun, and she wanted to leave camp with him. The promo for the next episode has Shane teaching her how to shoot.

There's mad eyesex going on on Andrea's part. Girl wants it BAD.

I like it better that way, because then I'm never disappointed by how the show takes it. I'm currently freaking out on Community, because I'm a Jeff/Annie shipper with Troy/Britta leanings and the show actually seems to be going that way. I've never had this happen before. Usually I sit back in my own little world of Jack/Rose/Doctor, Tosh/Jack, Willow/Giles, Rogue/Wolverine, Lassiter/Juliet, whatever and enjoy the tiny moments I can squee over and expand on in my imagination.

I'd have given anything for that one to happen. I don't hate Shawn/Juliet and I guess they're cute but that's probably part of why I haven't watched lately, frankly.

(ETA: Though I see your point that you weren't expecting it and I wasn't either. And maybe they would have ruined it, so there's that.)

yes, definitely the movie versions. :-)

I ship them like it's my job. It doesn't help that I find the so-called "chemistry" between Anna and Shawn to be a sucking void of suck, whereas even in their more antagonistic scenes in the beginning of the first X-Men, Wolverine and Rogue fucking SPARKED.

Yes to Rogue/Wolverine and Lassiter/Juliet. Shawn/Juliet might be the dullest pairing I've ever seen.

I pretty much exclusively ship crack pairings so I feel you there. all we can do is write some fic and hope others do the same.

Probably because those have even LESS chance of happening.

Eh, probably mostly because, in pretty much everything besides specifically gay-oriented things (LGBT fiction or BL/girls' love series), if you ship anything gay you can be at least 99.9% certain it will not only never become canon, but the creator(s) wouldn't ever even consider it.

It's still really disappointing with hetships, but I'm hoping anon was just making a joke about how slash shippers are completely used to shipping things knowing that there's absolutely no chance that they'll ever become canon, in a less bitter and more sort of "join the club" way.
