(Anonymous) 2011-11-20 02:04 am (UTC)(link)She really doesn't bring anything to the table acting-wise in Twilight. I could blame the director, but then it hasn't had the same director throughout the series. Her acting in the Twilight series is HORRIBLE. There's no beating around the bush. Sure, the source matter isn't great, but she just can't emote the emotions that are asked of her. I'm sorry, but that's the truth.
That being said, I saw her in another equally horrific movie (Take Me Home Tonight) and thought she did pretty well in it. The blonde hair really suited her and she played the role she was asked to play well. I almost couldn't believe it. She showed actual emotion that looked damn close to genuine! It was shocking. I did see clips of Runaways, but I wasn't impressed there. So, I think she has potential, but she's far from being a great actress. But yeah, she's not as bad as people make her out to be.
