This, so much. I don't really have hopes for Sophia anymore, but if they do find her, I want Daryl to be the one. He put more effort into finding her than anyone else - even though he had no reason to care about her at all. He deserves the satisfaction and the acknowledgement he'd get if he found her. Buuuut I'm sure the show won't give us that much happiness.

I was thinking about that. They're taking too long to find her, if Sophia is really ok, they would have found her in the first or second episode. In the context of the series (which is not an optimistic one) I think the most depression outcome of that story is if they find her and she became a zombie. IMO, it is worse than if she had died and would fit the tone of the series perfectly. I hope I'm wrong, though. I'm hoping Sophia becomes an open possibility and we never know what happened to her.

I cannot help thinking they're gonna find zombie!Sophia if they find her at all. But if anyone DOES find her alive and okay, I'd like it to be Daryl.

Oh god yes. This coming from someone bored with the season so far, and also betting on her being dead (no thanks in part to unverified spoilers), I'm already exploding from imagining how cute it could be.

Even with the teeny-tiny spoilers I've found (I don't know if there are more out there than what's on Wikipedia), I'm still betting on Sophia surviving/pulling through, and I have a feeling Daryl's going to be responsible at least in (a large) part.

Either way, speaking hypothetically, if they do find her and she does survive, I really, really want him and her and Carol to become some big family, where he adopts her as his honorary little sister and they bond and Carol kind of mothers him and it's adorable. PLEASE, SHOW, MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
