I would be a lot more interested in Inga if his female form wasn't so goofy. The design is just...I can't take her seriously, which is unfortunate.

Inga's backstory is gone into more detail in the movie that's out in theaters, but now that I know more about it I'm kind of less intrigued.
But yeah! Makes an otherwise okay show 80% more interesting.
