LOLOLOLOL DEAL WITH IT. ONE OF US. And he's not prententious, he's just smart! He's completely sweet and down-to-earth. He's just...also kind of a nerd. ♥ And he's actually really talented, so that makes it totally acceptable to dig him.

I don't know, some of the things he said in the NYC Comic Con panel had me cringing in sympathetic embarrassment.

Like what? I wasn't there, sadly, but I did see the video...the entire thing seemed like fun to me. IDK.

I don't know, his constant references to what he knows about comics canon and then that awkward thing about his favourite Norse myth...

asdjfasdf maybe I'm just being overcritical, I do this with every guy I get a crush on. Even tiny celebrity crushes

...Oh, yeah, see, that's precisely the kind of thing that...gives me a ladyboner, tbqh. I have this ridiculous Method fetish, so the fact that he put all the work in and got all serious business about it just makes me love him more. My interest in him honestly started as a talent crush--I saw Thor and I'm like "why don't I know this guy?! He's awesome!" That's why IDGI when people snipe about his looks--like, how is that even relevant?! But that's me. :P

I am also constantly impressed by the depth of his background knowledge. That's one of his biggest selling points for me!

I DO THE SAME THING (presumably) OP! Which is why I have very few crushes. And even fewer celebrity ones. But then this happened, so idek.

I was more bothered by the slip-ups in his nerdology than the pandering because hey, Comicon panel. But calling Loki THE shapeshifter of the Marvel universe? Mystique would like to have WORDS, Tom. ~~And now my nerd is showing again~~ And the myth thing was awkward in the most hilarious way possible.

Now, to return to my corner of shame

I think he has never read any X-Men, personally. I feel like he's one of those Marvel readers who sticks to the main team: the Avengers, and their related villains. People who don't read X-Men aren't familiar with the amazingness of Mystique <3 <3 <3

That's probably true, and his knowledge was still very impressive but. MYSTIQUE.

Also I am super jealous that you actually got in. I waited in line for around three or four hours (so I imagine you waited quite a bit longer) and was still one of the sad puppies stuck outside. Thank god for youtube.

Gurl(?), I got there at 10:15am and sat in that goddamn panel room for what, 9-10 hours? It waaaaaaaas awful. But worth it in the end, especially since I got to ask a question!

Well, being the one who asked him the question about his favorite incarnation of Loki, and knowing the girl who asked about the myths, I'm pretty sure we were trying to get him to talk about what he knows as far as comics canon goes. Because it's always nice to see that actors really know their source material. So blame us for inciting the answer, don't blame him for answering the question in the best way he could ;D

He dithered so much on the myth question. I kind of wish someone had said "So, what you mean is, your favourite myth is the one where the character you play gets knocked up by a horse."

I think he just picked the first myth he could think of that put a positive spin on Loki, then remembered "oh wait, bestiality and mpreg in a panel that potentially contains children." And so began the dithering.

...That or he's just a massive troll.

These are my thoughts too.

That, or he really doesn't know the myths all that well and is just trying to make us think he does.

That's very possible but come on, if he remembered Loki turned into a MARE to distract a STALLION, he probably remembered what came next. Especially since Sleipnir was in the movie.

...Ancient mythology was freakin' weird, man.

Queen Sebastian, whose new husband was already boring the shit out of his pampered ass, found something new to focus his wrath on.

The absent's King's son, that milquetoast called Kurt, with his sunny disposition, his shitty singing with his shitty bird and other woodland creatures, and his untampered-with-ass in his padded silk balloon shorts. What Sebastian hated most of all were Kurt's babby teeth, his turned up nose, and those lips that looked perfect for cock sucking but still hadn't gone there.

The last straw was Blaine, a princeling from a neighboring kingdom showing up, and paying tribute to Kurt. Not Sebastian, who he regarded as a mere concubine.

Queen Sebastian gave his loyal huntsman, the fearsome Karofsky, the order to take Kurt out into the woods, cut him up slowly then string him up from a tree, and bring him back the boy's skin.
