Maybe I'm focusing on the wrong thing here, but I see so many perfectly normal women say they're "not very pretty" without realizing that they could be just as gorgeous as any given 'beautiful' woman with just a little knowledge of how to do makeup right.

My view of celebrities have changed forever, oh my god!

It's really shocking the first time you see what an extreme difference makeup can make. That was what finally pushed me into actually learning how to do makeup properly. I spent my teens thinking I was kind of pretty at my best, then I spent the time learning to do makeup properly. When I put the effort in, I can be as pretty as any Hollywood starlet.
