Why don't you "mingle" or write some new fic? It might feel awkward at first, but I'm sure you're not forgotten, you just have get back in there and include yourself.

Can't relate to the "Didn't you miss me?" cause...I'm me, but it is always a weird experience when you revisit old fandoms. I kind of like being the person who can rec stuff that everyone else has forgotten about, though.

I know how you feel, OP. Though my fandom is just still kind of festering in its own filth. I still miss it, though. And it's weird to me when people ask me who my OC is. Back when I was a BNF everyone knew him. Sad to be forgotten, but I don't miss all the drama.

Once I revisted my oldest fandom and someone remembered one of my old fics and I couldn't believe it.

A few months ago I joined an old-fandom-that's-making-a-comeback as a new fandomer at a point where some old school bnfs were coming out from 'hiding' and tentatively talking to us new buggers. I say you should do that too and make some new friends and join in with the discussion. Personally I appreciate the different perspectives on the source material.
