My curious little teenage self was all excited for that too BUT, if I remember correctly, AR explicitly states in the book that drinking blood IS sex for vampires. I was like, um, nooooo SEX is sex. I figured that all of the good parts were cut out of the movie to make it more blockbuster-y, but no, there were no good sexin parts to cut out. I was so disappointed :-(

well, IWTV was SOooooo full of UST, so graphic sex or not - still was VERY impressed) And there IS sex in AR books, between Armand and Marius it was just YUMYUM)))) and sex comes in all forms and shapes;))) so bloodsucking is also SEX) just without the usual intercourse) anywhooo, that's my opinion)
