But honestly, the problem is that we have beauty "standards" that in American media are so, so prevalent to the point that i don't care how anyone looks.

I'm mostly saying this because I have a poster of Lea Salonga on my wall which has clearly been photoshopped to hell to make her look younger and more traditionally attractive, and it's kind of made a fantastically beautiful woman look completely mediocre, which is impressive in a sick kind of way.
