Well said. The above was why I was wondering in my own comments whether or not the OP had ever even had sex or was just a bit inhibited.

I was also going to add that exploring what a character says in bed and how they say it (or lack thereof) is a great opportunity for character development that you lose if you make all of your characters do and say the same thing (or lack thereof) every time you write a sex scene.

Yeah, IA. Sex scenes without dialogue tend to end up rather cookie-cutter unless you have a lot of internal narrative for one character. If I can change around the characters' names and make it a sex scene for another pairing then there's something missing.
