I'm only saying so because OP commented that realistic dirty talk is something "crass": def. without refinement, delicacy, or sensitivity; gross; obtuse; stupid.

I didn't say everyone had to like it OR they're frigid, just that OP's choice of words leads me to believe he or she is either really misinformed about what sexual dialogue is actually like or is inherently uncomfortable with it.

And if OP's uncomfortable with it, so what? They may simply not prefer it in their sex. That doesn't make them frigid or virginal; it just means they have different preferences about what goes in when they're in bed with someone, or when their favorite ships are in bed.

It's like... would you judge someone for exclusively preferring PIV sex in the missionary position? Some people are just really vanilla -- this is not something to make them feel ashamed of.
