all righties, this is kind of a weird thing i have that i don't totally know how to explain.

so i'm an only child, never had siblings, never will. i usually don't ship incest because it just feels inherently weird to me, but occasionally i'll see two characters that i sorta ship, then find out they're siblings and be like ehh... sometimes it'll just turn into a "oh so that's why they have such chemistry with each other!" and sometimes it'll just be like "okay never mind don't wanna ship that anymore..." usually the whole just being siblings part is enough to make me just not ship it, but sometimes i kind of have to think about it more? like, i know that a lot of people with siblings ship incest without it being totally weird for them, but i feel like as an only child who can't really totally understand the dynamic and relationship between siblings, it almost feels...disrespectful to ship it? not just disrespectful, but just, not...right...? like, since i don't understand the bond between siblings, i can't reason my way into shipping it or out of shipping it because i don't actually get it? therefore just quit thinking about it i guess because i don't have siblings so i simply can't actually get it?

does that make any sense lol? idk, i've always had this thing where almost everything kind of needs to be thought through and stuff or else you're not doing...what you should be doing? like, i understand people like to just turn off their deeply thinking brain sometimes just to have fun [i do too sometimes] but this is... my enjoyment haha.

let's put it like this. i'm the type of person who needs to remember to repeat the MST3K Mantra rather often lol.
