So if the rule about fandom tagging is "it's not necessary as long as the fandom is obvious in the image/secret," why would #22 get the go-ahead? The OP didn't name the series, it isn't readily obvious from the image or the wording what fandom it is (thus a lot of pissed-off Walking Dead fans!) and the secret isn't being all vague and generally-accessible - it's nothing but omg reaction to specific show event. So why let it through?

"It's not necessary" =/= "it is mandatory," (actually it's the exact opposite) so I'm not following your logic...

ETA: Oh wait, I see what it was. What is written is: "If your secret makes the fandom obvious, there's no need to do this."

Big difference! Haha - as in, sure, it's optional, but if your secret has it, no need for it. Not mandatory, though.

it's optional for people to add things like what fandom it is, trigger warnings, and spoilers. It's not a rule that they have to, it's just a courtesy many people extend

Oh, please. Fandoms are obvious only if you're a fan of the show or if you've seen related pics numerous times on here. Hell, I don't know half/most of them most of the time until I start reading the secret's reactions. Not all of us are lucky enough to have cable to channel surf. If I want to watch it, I have to 1) know it exists 2) find it somewhere online to watch.
