NGL, there is always at least one panel in every doujin that I read where I have to stop and squint at it, because I cannot figure out what I'm supposed to be looking at. I sometimes think the artists do it to pad out panels.

LOL, that panel is pretty clear to me (someone fucking someone, sorta-doggy style from the back angle).

It used to be much, much worse back in the day with the BL doujinshi I read. I remember me and the lil' sis was looking at his Zack/Cloud picture but completely confused what the fuck we were looking at on her computer. After 5 minutes, in a last ditch effort, I managed to turn myself upside down and figured out it was a picture of Zack and Cloud fucking, we lol'ed pretty fucking hard for the next hour.

After all, I became sort of a master in this kind of stuff. Once in a blue moon, I might have to turn the laptop upside-down but I usually can follow even if the panel composition is complete shit.

Personally, I see it as a method to either (1) cover that the artist isn't very strong in anatomy and tries to hide their lack of experience or (2) they are being fancy on the point of being too much so.

It looks more like two people thrusting their butts against each other, one of them bent over. XD

This isn't even a problem exclusive to hentai, I keep encountering "regular" manga where there is a mess of lines and shadows and I can't even tell what's going on. Especially in action scenes.

Maybe a lot mangaka simly fail at anatomy, I dunno. vov

I feel you. Especially in porn with censors, I spend more time than I'd like trying to figure out how the fuck they changed positions or what position they're supposed to be in or why the dick is suddenly backwards

omg the worst are the "internal" shots they're so confusing lol.

tbh it doesn't bother me too much because general what gets me off in doujins is the (cheesy) dialogue and the facial expressions :O

In a strange way that's why I love hentai manga. It's all a passionate mixture of limbs and bodies slamming into each other. ♥ You don't get that in western porn comics.

Yeah, some of it can be pretty bad, but my mind just fills it in and moves on.

I'm not even bothered by entangled limbs. It's just when you can't even tell what body part you're looking at (or if you're even looking at a person at all) that annoys me.

I am the exact same way. I don't know why it's so prevalent but sometimes I'm staring at it for awhile and putting the puzzle together in my head and then realize what's going on.

It's even worse when it's a manga that "edits" out the actual genitalia. So it's like, a phantom invisible penis going into some place and you have NO idea where or whose it is and it makes for some very confusing panels.

Yeah, I totally get this. I usually just gloss over confusing panels so I can get to more explicit scenes, but when I stop and try to figure it out, it annoys the hell outta me...aaaand now that picture is bothering me DX
