No I get what you mean. Slenderstories are all about questionable faults and motivations and stuff. So while Alex is on the villainous side now, he could swing back into antihero territory later.

I can see what you mean, OP. If you go by the "possessed" theory, then yeah, I guess he could be. Nothing's really been revealed yet, so we don't know that he isn't a sympathetic character yet.

I can't.

Given the content of the videos, it's very likely he's sacrificing others to keep Slendy from taking him. If you notice Entry 37, Slendy's been there since he was little. I'm betting, if any character looked into his past, they'd see a bunch of missing people.

He doesn't seem possessed, he seems obsessed.

While as the way he is I don't find him sympathetic at all, the nature of MH means that it's way too early to jump any conclusions about anyone before the story closes.

Especially in the first season, I couldn't get over how Alex has to have had an alt personality at some stage if he's to have someone like Jay who would go this far for him.

Honestly I just feel bad for the guy. He's obviously batshit crazy, but..I'm convinced he didn't start out that way.

This makes me really want to try watching Marble Hornets again just so I know who this guy is. I watched maybe twenty episodes in one day and couldn't do it anymore. I slept with the lights on and had nightmares.

I wish I wasn't such a pussy when it comes to horror stuff because Marble Hornets was really well done.
