I just can't stand her. I hate her romance with Batman and I hate Ra's as well, they always feel like really annoying, poorly-written fanfiction plots to me.

TBH, I kind of hope he stays dead -- or, at least, MIA for the next game. I love the Joker, but I'd love for a different villain to have the limelight. But, as reactions like yours are probably very common, I doubt he'll be gone for good.

Gotham has all kinds of fucked up villains (including one who rides a pink motorcycle and eats faces, come on!), and I'd like to see some focus on them too

Meh, I'd like to see more Batman stuff without the Joker. He's an awesome character, but he's dragged out so often I'm getting Joker fatigue. Then again, I'm also in the camp that would like to see more Batman stuff that doesn't hold Batman up as the only hero in Gotham. Arkham City was an excellent start, with Tim and Dick and Selina getting a slice of the action. I want more of that! I know the DCU reboot means it'll never happen, but I would have killed for an animated show focusing on the whole Batfamily, with Dick, Barbara (and her Birds), Jason, Tim, Steph, Cass, Damian, Selina, Helena, Kate and everyone else involved. Especially if it had Justice League and Teen Titan cameos. It would have been like a soap opera with explosions and Batarangs!

There's no way Joker is really dead... but Mark Hamill said this was his last time doing the Joker so I'm hoping for that reason -- and because the plot of both games so far have been heavily focused on Joker -- that he's not back in the next game.

I hope he stays dead. Only because, if Mark Hamill isn't voicing him, I don't think anyone should. I think this was the perfect sendoff/a nod to how great Hamill's been these past decades.
