uh well in case you didn't notice, the movie was a lot less dark than the comics in general. i doubt that movie!chris would ever rape katie because he's a different character.

You know, part of the reason rapists are able to rape people is because they don't always "look like rapists." Rapists can be that nice guy next door, your long-time friend, your boyfriend/husband--they don't all have to be seven feet tall with tattoos and a shirt that says "sex is the question and the answer's yes."

Uuugh, THIS. He tries so hard to be edgy, but it's like...watching a teenager in a creative writing class trying to write a story that will TOTALLY SHOCK THE TEACHER. But then the mere fact that he's trying so hard just makes it embarrassing for everyone, not to mention the fact that his "edgy" story is a piece of shit. But then the teacher is like, "OMG THIS IS SO GROUNDBREAKING. LET'S MAKE YOU THE TEACHER'S ASSISTANT," and then he's like, "Blurgh, dude, how did this happen? I don't even go here! *douchebag chuckle*"

And then I facepalm forever and hate life. But mostly Mark Millar.

you know I think the movie is just way way better than the comics, the comics are just ugly(not art wise, story wise) mean spirited drivel. Trying to shock you into being horrified.
And Red Mist outside of the movie is so FLAT. Ooh I'm so mean and tough and rapey and HARDCORE.
AND I REAAALLY hope there's no rape in the movie sequel.

I'm happy they toned him down in the movie, I find him absolutely disgusting in the comics. And not in a "disgusting villain" way, but in a "author is trying too hard" one.

Psh, the comic was (as everyone had pointed out) just trying too hard to be edgy without having any actual talent or interesting ideas. Movie-RedMist was much better because he was this Adorkable kid just trying to impress daddy. And was actually funny.
