I've come to the conclusion that most people there just fail at reading comprehension. I took a stroll through it recently out of morbid curiosity and someone was complaining that a fic had been written from an 11-y/o's point of view, yet had some pretty skeevy descriptions of his body, and the author had gone and said "I'm not a pedophile"... which either means the author is stupid and young, or does have some weird stuff up in their head. But half the comments in the ffr entry were going "but you can write things you don't agree too~~" and I was like, did you read or did you just nearly tripped over your keyboard in your haste to give your oh so wise lecture? :|

That was the feeling I got the most when I was active there, that's just the best example I can give rn.
