I agree. People should be allowed to post whatever the hell spoiler secrets they want, and if some people are too delicate to handle it then they should go to a different comm

Yeah, if the image is *recognizable*, no worries. But i had no clue who that was until i saw the name and my brain had already taken in all of the first line. Arrgh. If i see a spoiler for a show i'm watching, i skip it, but it just was unavoidable with this secret. Maybe if the picture had been less...weird.

I get that you and a few other people feel really strongly about this, but... why?
Does posting/reading spoilers really improve your life so much that it's worth upsetting and potentially driving off a large portion of the comm, when traffic has already been on the decline for a while? Have you really thought this through?

TBH, what is on the verge of driving me off is the wank about having all these warnings. I'm sick to the back teeth of every single little thing having to be warned for. Ooh, it only happened last ep, oooh it's in the deliberate hype-leak, oooh it's a movie made only 80 years ago RAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SPOILERS zOmG MY LIFE IS OVaR I SAW A SPOILER WAAAAAAA!one1!eleventyone1. Toss in all the secrets that show a non-tub of lard person, has to get a warning for eating disorders, has an emo goth image so has to have warning for self harm, a pg movie clip but I have to put a rape warning on it even though it isn't about someone climbing into your bedroom tonight and fucking you with a chilli-pepper coated dildo (that creak you just heard, not floorboards settling, it's the rapist hiding in the bathroom, good luck, he's watching you).

Yeah, see all the warnings and the warning fascism culture make me want to post stuff like that, if only to piss you guys off because I'm so sick of it. You want to stop people drifting away? Quit it with the fucking warnings for everything and grow the fuck up.
