I think all the maintainters of fanficrants and of ffr_discussion are arrogant, awful people with some kind of chip on their shoulder. They really get off on harassing/bullying people. It's really bizarre.

The terrible thing is that they'll LOOK for reasons to ban you if they don't like you. Even if they're stretching. Theo is the worst. I've noticed he's not so bad if he doesn't have somebody to whiteknight for... but still. In what universe is calling someone a "dipshit" in your ban notice an acceptable way to talk to someone, just because you disagree with them? Ugh.

I didn't delete my comments. Someone else did. Yeah I pmed Acediance, but it was about business in another comm (not the comm she mods). The fact that she banned me wasn't harrassment... it was the replying to me afterwards that was uncalled for.

It's even low for a mod to talk that way. If he's a mod, he needs to be more polite. Did you see he used his "live long and fuck you" icon too? that was very unacceptable. He's a coward and KNEW I couldn't reply back because I was banned, so he let his anger out on me knowing I had no way to respond.

You private messaged a mod to the point of harrassment in a comm that bans private messaging the mods. That's not a stretch, that's you being a dipshit and breaking the rules then screaming harrassment. The mods didn't have to look for a reason, you gave them one all prettily wrapped up in shiny paper with a nicely tied bow.

Let's get a few things straight. I PMed Acediance about FANFICRANTS business. Not ffr_discussion business. She does NOT run fanficrants, so I was NOT technically sending a message to a mod. It's ONLY against the rules if you send messages to the mods about mod business in the community they run which this was not. Theo stretched that one.

Second I didn't harrass her... I simply asked her to help me, and that she owed me after being so awful to me. (Guess I was wrong because she doesn't care.) That doesn't quite qualify as "harrassment" in my book. *shrug*

So yeah, it was a stretch.

But I wasn't harrassing her. In fact she was pretty childish if you could see the PMs. I PMed her for more than just the fact that she runs ffr_discussion, too. Are members just never allowed to PM other members?

Even if acediance did owe you something, harrassing her is against the rules. If something showed your ban for deletion needed to be overturned, and despite you screaming persecution Theo has been looking into it with LJ because he's an idiot, you've broken the rule about harrassing people in their journals and would be immediately rebanned.

But that's just the thing, I wasn't harrassing her. It wasn't in her journal, it was in her pm box, and it's not like I left her a bunch of flames or spammed her or anything. I just asked a question. *shrug* Unless there's some hidden rule somewherre stating that members can't pm each other about anything ever, I didn't break the rules.

I don't know the drama surrounding you so I won't comment on that, but I agree with this. I remember ages ago Theo called someone a "sociopath" because they used a slur and didn't apologize for it. And while everyone else was congratulating him on banning them, I was sitting there thinking, "WTF? So it's not okay for people to use words like 'lame' or 'retarded' as insults, but it's okay for the moderator to use 'sociopath' as an insult?!"

If you're going to make rules, at least stick by them yourself!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm glad someone finally gets it. It sounds just like him to say something like that to someone. The hypocracy is such a large issue surrounding one of the things I can't stand about the comm. If you're going to make rules, live by them. (This is both for spoken rules and rules in the profile.)

But I never broke any rules in all the time that I was on fanficrants and on ffr_discussion. The truth is that Theo-harrison wanted me gone. One of the first things he actually said to me was "get out" and when I said I wasn't going to let some overzelous members of the comm drive me out, I think he took that as a challenge. So then months later I went to post a comment and poof, it mysteriously disappeared. I don't think the OP of the post did it because I can't see that they would have a grudge against me. That leaves the mods... I know who deleted it and I know why he did it.

Then on ffr_discussion, I didn't break any rules either. I PMed a mod about business going on in another comm she doesn't even mod. That is not the accepted definition on the community info page about contacting the mods. The real truth is that Theo-harrison is very touchy about anyone saying anything to Acediance. He gets along with her, so we're all supposed to worship her... and since I don't (and didn't in that post), I was kicked out.

It's not a martyr complex. I was in communities with melodramatic, clique-y, petty mods who have never outgrown a high school mentality.
