Oh, come on. Do you think every Judas in every performance of Jesus Christ Superstar fakes a suicide attempt on stage, too? There's a difference between actually trying to fake a suicide attempt and doing something for a stage show.

Not that I'm saying that I thought it wasn't stupid, but your wording is off.

Dude. There's a huge difference between a staged suicide as part of a structured performance where suicide is an integral part of the show's storyline (Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miz, nearly every opera in existence, etc.) and is expected by the audience, and a staged suicide where it has nothing whatsoever to do with the music and is there solely for "HEY LOOK AT ME" factor. The latter was the case with Gaga, so no, I don't think the wording's off.
