I meant day-to-day wear that people actually look GOOD in. Not anime tshirts and sloppy sweatpants.

Oh, I'm talking about the little booty shorts/hotpants and midriff tees and see-through shirts with black bras. :\ But then, I live in the middle of the desert and people justify wearing that sort of thing (and 90% of the time looking Very Bad in it) with "oh but it's so hot outside!" so your mileage may vary.

In that case, I completely agree with you. It's annoying to see people claim that they're too cool for things that are widely accepted as looking good and instead wear trashy stuffs and still expect people to take them seriously. :\
