Because I like the art style and, ain't gonna lie, it's a super easy way to get attention right now. I'll give Korra as much of a chance as I gave A:TLA.

Character designs and attention. As a Pixiv-freak, I can tell you that most of the best fanart for any fandom is done by great artists that are mainly doing it because they like the character designs and art style.

Fair enough. I love and draw Adventure Time art, but I think the show itself is annoying and haven't seen more than two or three episodes.
I've also drawn Twilight art for friends in the past, and, well. It's Twilight.

Wait, why did you only get a few episodes into A:TLA? If you didn't like it that's cool, but if it was because you were busy or even you got a bit bored, you should really give it a second chance. Shit gets good yo.

I kind of get it, op. While i may watch it one day when it is complete, the only real part i'm looking forward to is the art book

Well, I certainly can't blame you for wanting to draw art of that!

But now you've got me thinking how many of the artists of my favorite fanarts think the same as you. Oh well, as long as you're having fun with your drawing it's all good!

Nonetheless, I am waiting for Korra with bated breath. She looks awesome, and I hope she's not the only female main.
