Um...I love Dollhouse too, OP, but I wouldn't say it's Joss' BEST. Even if you ignore the many, many, many valid criticisms about the basic premise, it did take a while to find its footing. I would say that certain episodes ("Belonging", the Epitaphs) might be categorized as high points of the Whedonverse, but the show itself is really flawed.

I don't really have a problem with you saying this, I LOVE Buffy but I also LOVE Dollhouse, sometimes I have trouble picking which Joss show I like the best because I like them for different reasons and they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

It's hard to compare those two in particular because they are from different eras and are toned differently. Dollhouse *might* be comparable to some of the darker seasons of Buffy, but even then I think I'd feel more comfortable comparing it to Angel in that regard.

I'm just glad there are Dollhouse fans though because it got a hell of a lot of criticism and I really loved it anyway.
