"Karofsky/Kurt is not endgame. Santana is not the main character." You had me until that. So what if they ship a pairing and like a character? (Can you see the future ?How do you know what is endgame)

The problem is not that they ship them or love Santana. The problem is that you will be laughed at and insulted, if you don't think it's going to happen. BY THE MODS EVEN!

You're right, OP can't see the future but neither can they. OP probably should have said that it's probably unlikely. It's just that you go there and get told IT WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE WE SAID SO! by a very loud minority (if you look at the whole fandom) who has the mods blessing, which proceeds to attack you and your prefered ship/character/actor.
You love the characters/pairings/actors they like? Then it's no problem of course and you're probably going to have lots of fun.

Yeah, mea culpa. "Kurt/Karofsky is NOT endgame" was not meant in the spirit that I hate Kurt/Karofsky shippers (or Santana fans, for that matter; I mean, whatever, I'm not going to tell people what they should or shouldn't like), I just feel like that particular ship is a example of people who get really angry over writers not going in the direction THE SHOW IS SUPPOSED TO BE GOING IN!!!1!!111! I mean, maybe Kurt/Karofsky is endgame. But if it is, the writers are being extremely tricky about it, and riling those fans up in the process. Anyway, yeah. Just an example.

And for the record, I recognize that Kurt/Karofsky isn't something that the whole community agrees with. Whenever it's brought up, there's usually a minor skirmish.
