I really liked the show and I checked out the fandom but I just didn't feel to write or read fic for it like I expected to. I didn't even ship anyone (which is weird, because I've shipped Holmes/Watson before), even though I think BC and Martin Freeman are charming. For the first time, I was content with the source material
I admit I enjoy a lot of the memes and fanart I've seen though, and a lot of the authors in the fandom are pretty cool people (including velvetmace, ilu)
