Yeah, he died of a heart attack earlier this year. He was only 58, too! :(

I'm still sad about his death, but his music lives on at least.

Also I should've proof-read that secret a little bit better before I posted it. Whoops

Trouble is he was a real arsehole too. He lived near me and his kids went to the same school as mine. He wasn't a particularly nice man. Good guitar player but unfortunately in the last few years a dull performer.

yeah, I'm aware of that. it's hard to find a genuinely nice and famous guitar player (or rock and roller for that matter). he probably couldn't work with people and that's why he went on and did solo work.

But I can like his music and guitar chops without liking him as an individual.

Though I want to find more people who are at least decent people as well as being a good musician. Exploring other genres and eras helps.

I can only remember one Dio-secret, and it was about how there were no Dio secrets. But I think the reason is, why would liking Gary Moore be a secret? He made great music.
