Did you actually do some research into the symbol, or did you just copy the one from the show?

Because, while I don't believe in demons, if you do then yeah you should probably make sure what you're painting on your roof is the 'real thing'.

This, pretty much. I had a friend who used to draw pentagrams on his room wall in red and black paint (some band, I think). Anyway, I visited once and pretty much never came back. It made me way too uncomfortable.

OP, get one squiggly symbol wrong and you might be summoning evil instead, just saying (plus I'm not sure the show's symbols found via Google or similar would be the best thing in repelling evil.)

I love when people love this show that much. A nice counter to all of the typical hate.

.... Is NO-ONE reminded of the Buffy episode Fear Itself? Frat dudes painting a creepy symbol on the floor for their party and turning the place into a legit 'haunted' house? That's kinda cool, but I kinda hope you made sure it does what you think it does/is harmless/doesn't backfire on you.
