I disagree. I am so happy that the Dartmouth Aires made it to the finale because I loved watching them every week, but Pentatonix was hands down the best, week after week. They deserved the win.

I liked watching the Aires, and they were clearly really, really talented, especially Michael (I think that's his name? I want him to go on Broadway so I can just watch him eat scenery and sound like heaven all day), but every single time Pentatonix went on stage, I wanted to go buy all of their everything so I could have it for myself. Didn't matter if it was a song I liked, or a song I didn't like, I needed a copy right then. I feel like I'm betraying a guy I knew from high-school who is actually in the Aires, but I'm really glad they didn't win.

Profile stalking indicates that we weren't in the same year - I'm a bit younger - but yeah, chances are we'd at least recognize each other.

Technically it was flipthefrog before I ever hit Rosenfield's class due to a really crappy in-joke, but oh well. It really is a small internet, though, considering how tiny that school was. I was in theater and choir, plus the a capella group, but didn't do much else socially so we might have missed each other. Cool to talk to someone from the old crowd, though!

lmao ignore my last comment, i mixed up pentatonix with another group (afro-blue, maybe?) re: elimination. i just wanted to say that any group that tries to do a queen medley gets an auto-fail in my eyes. you are not freddie mercury. a cappella groups need to STOP COVERING QUEEN because they just can't do it, 95% of them don't have the showmanship. and i'm speaking from personal experience - i cannot even begin to tell you how many queen covers i saw my college a cappella groups do. it's just unimaginative at this point. the other groups had way more ingenuity, so good on pentatonix for winning.

(i loved urban method, though.)
