Hell, I've even recommended fics in that and other fandoms about pairing A/B to friends who ship it, when I don't care about or even dislike said pairing, because I heard it was a really good A/B fic they would probably like. And have had things recced to me by friends who don't like the subject of whatever they're reccing. And no death threats or creepy cyber-stalking came from it.
Also, Sam/Hair care products has been added to my list of OTPs. Thanks, OP.
