It's more that Florence+The Machine is very dear to me and has been very important in my life these past few months (as mainstream as it may sound) and I don't want to associate it with freakin' Supernatural.

But alas, I'm biased against the show.

Really now? Really?

Come on, that's just ridiculous. People in a fandom (that you obviously have nothing to do with) incorporating something you like into said fandom is not going to affect you in any way whatsoever. How would you even know?

I know now. ;) I just don't think I'll remember it when I next listen to Florence, thankfully. x)

Why do you make it like 'Supernatural' is a vile thing that would ruin the album for you if you were slightly reminded of it? It doesn't sound like you even have seen the show. Is it trendy to just hate something because it's popular?

I tried to watch the show (a friend of mine lent me the season 1 DVD set), but I could only get halfway through it.

Supernatural events are just not my thing on TV and this particular show was definitely not helping me in that department. I don't actively hate it, but I dislike it enough to want to keep it separate from the things I do like. If this makes any sense to anybody.

Oh, please. You don't have to watch/like the show, but if it affects your feelings about the album, that's on you.

My point was if she hasn't watched the show how does she know it's a bad thing that would taint her experience of listening to the album. She answered it.
