Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either. Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

It's been a while since I checked Artemis Fowl fandom (the books past Opal Deception are very irksome and disappointing, especially Atlantis Complex imo), but there are a couple that come to mind from ff.net that kind of fit the whole "it could totally be canon!" prereq.

Last Farewell (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5411969/1/) is a sweet little one shot where Artemis is old, on his deathbed, and Holly visits him one last time.

And also, Metronome (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3167181/1/), another one shot that focuses on Minerva. I think you mentioned not having read the entire Artemis Fowl series in one of the gen fs threads, so I probably wouldn't touch this one at all if you haven't read The Lost Colony. If you have, I find it a neat little character study that is now my headcanon for this character who basically got shafted by Colfer in terms of development.

You've probably come across it before as it's so popular, but my favorite NaruHina fic is Team 8 (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2731239/1/) by S'TarKan.

It's epically long (~239k), but hasn't been updated in months. Still, definitely worth the read.
Summary: What if Naruto had been selected for a different team? What if he'd had a different mentor? Who would guess the consequences would be so large?

I actually have read that one! But I'm do for a re-reading any day now... <3

Identity (http://yj-anon-meme.livejournal.com/689.html?thread=118961) is the only Young Justice fic I've read, but I enjoyed it quite a lot, so I'm still recommending it.
