Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either. Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

Death Note -- Light/L

You've probably read this already, but here:

CocoaCoveredGod's Redeemer Series (http://anime.adultfanfiction.net/authors.php?no=1296867228). It is the best Death Note fic I've ever read. Not only is it super long, but it's plotty and well-written! If I could marry this fic and have its babies, I would.
Summary: The story takes place after Death Note ends, although the main characters have not died. Here the Yellowbox Warehouse is essentially the pinnacle of L's 6-year long offensive against Kira, who believes L to be dead, when he really isn't.

Summary: Light has 13 days to find out how it will feel, not just to kill, but to destroy.

Summary: Summary: Upon recovering his memories of Kira, Raito has a terrible choice to make. What he does choose throws him into a realm of insanity and suddenly it's the God of the New World that needs the rescuing-and L is the only one who can help.

Summary: During the investigation, an outbreak appears in Great Britain. It's known only as the Rage Virus, an infection that kills anyone who's exposed. Forced to divert his attention away from the Kira case and towards the new developing worldly crisis, L brings the soft and uncalculating Light Yagami with him to the UK. There, things change.

Drowning properly was an art, one that Light had long perfected after the murder of his friend and finding the Death Note, but a chance moment leaves Light struggling to breath as he stumbles his way through a decade long conspiracy. And then there's L.
**This doesn't start off too well, but it gets better.

Summary: Death Note with a Disney spin. Maybe their poison drenched love, this twisted fairytale of most wicked beauty, is all that matters, even when L is dragged back from his grave and faced with his poisoned apple again

I've also heard good things about Coexistence is Boredome (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3247965/1/) by Sakurazukamori6.
Summary: A new deathnote. A new plan for world sanctity. And an entirely misled Catholic clergy. Raito and L take their respective places on the sides of their own justice. A final battle waged in the Garden of Eden.

Alternative universe story in which Raito is both a suspect of being Kira and another world famous detective! Using the alias 'Smile', the help of BB, and shinigami eyes Raito helps L in the battle against Kira.

This one is L/Light and is 73k+, but unfinished and abandoned.

Higuchi dies, and Light doesn't regain his memories. Case closed, L offers to take Light along to investigate with him on a new case. AU after Anime episode 24. L/Light fluff within, and fun cameos from the Wammy's House crew.

Coming late to the party, but I will always recommend Half Asleep by the Crushinator (Half Asleep) as a go-to Zuko/Katara post-series fic. There's no derailing/bashing of Aang or Mai, the romance doesn't dominate the plot, and it's got a whole heaping crapload of awesome Gaang-plus-Mai-and-Ty-Lee action. The platonic relationships -- particularly Aang and Katara, and Katara and Sokka -- are all written excellently.
