I, too, am oddly fond of Boris Johnson. I think it has something to do with all those times he chaired Have I Got News For You. Which is a silly and shallow reason to like a politician, and I am ashamed.

I think Boris is actually a fairly solid Mayor, and when I applied for Project Management at TFL I gave a whole presentation focused on implementing a number of his policies.

Plus he's very good at building a certain public persona, but below that either he's pretty sharp, or his handlers know what they're doing. I can respect that.

Who isn't oddly fond of Boris Johnson? xD He's endlessly entertaining and he seems much less objectionable than some Tory politicians.

I also kind of like him because he's a classicist and he talks about it in interviews from time to time. :3
