I think it's the pointy boobs that put people off.

They smooth that all out in the 3DS version. Enough for me to take notice in just the trailer alone...

Wasn't it the drag queen makeup and the witch laugh that put people off?

I never minded the laugh, I've heard a lot worse, but the make-up? Yeah that probably didn't help.

I must be odd because I kind of like the laugh, hmm...

The fairy is obviously Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy.

I don't know about sexy, but I always thought she was gorgeous. Espcially her vine costume. I just thought it looked so ethereal.

For me, it's the poses she strikes @__@ unf. Also I loved their different hair colours in Majora's Mask, always wished the purple one was featured elsewhere.

I always thought that was the point, it just didn't work well with the current graphics and laugh they chose. But I always liked the Great Fairies for how weird they were. :P

It was a mix of poke-your-eyes-out pointy boobs, really bad camera angles, a papercraft-like face, and that frightening laughter that killed any potential cloners.

The character art's alright. I guess.

I think her character design would have been immensely sexier had the graphics not been so boxy, but I couldn't get over her horrifying shriek every time she fucking appeared on the screen. God, that scared the shit out of me as a child. And thinking about it, it still makes me pretty damn uncomfortable. I can't find a woman sexy if her voice is like that. I just can't. :(

When I first heard her I couldn't even tell she was laughing, until she laughed again in her softer way. I thought she was crying!

As creepy as she is, I think she's out-creeped by the fairy queen in Wind Waker. Though she was probably made intentionally creepy.

Any sex appeal she has is immediately discarded when she laughs. If that isn't the sound of nightmares I don't know what is.

I never realized 'till right now that I totally want to dress as this character for Halloween or a con. :3 I've even had the laugh down for years!

They got her a little better by Majora's.
