Hmm, I've always liked fanart that depicted Vriska in a way that was almost unattractive(I can't explain how I mean that well), because that was always how I pictured her. I think regardless, you should try it. People usually judge by costume quality rather than from appearance, from what I've seen around.

Aw, OP, don't fret! I think vriska is super pretty, but I'm sure you'd make a great vriska c: Even if you don't think you are pretty, I bet you are. Most people are pretty and so many don't even know it, and I'm not just saying that. Just go for it and have fun!

If you are really that worried about it, makeup can do wonders for ones face and self esteem. I know that there is a difference between natural beauty and cosmetic beauty, but I see no reason why you can't wear makeup as long as you're doing it to please yourself as opposed to others!

I don't think Vriska would be particularly pretty, but if you're worried that you're not pretty enough to cosplay Vriska you probably don't have what it takes to be what makes Vriska Vriska.

this one has a good point. No matter what your body type, you can't be a reserved, shy Vriska. Even with John she's all take charge and way too in ones face. Maybe that's not you but... well hell, if your going to dress up as somebody that looks so different from human, who says you have to be yourself as her? Not in a self-loathing kind of way but a "have fun, run with this" mentality!

Costumes can be empowering that way. I'd try some stuff on and see if you can't suddenly find the ability to be somebody else when you no longer resemble what's in the mirror!

I know nothing about Homestuck, but I kind of get the impression that the trolls aren't supposed to be pretty. besides, you'd be sticking horns and snaggleteeth and green makeup on yourself anyway.

We've had some Troll/Human interaction, it appears our aesthetics are similar enough that neither immediately repulses the other. And lets face it, 13 year old/6 solar sweepers aren't at the height of maturity, there'd probably have been some mention from one party or another if they looked exceptionally odd to each other.

Plus, more or less the troll universe helped shape the human universe, so it'd explain why certain similarities occur. Vriska specifically though would strike me as the type that's pretty, but a bit underweight. From an active life and neglect of food rather then a disorder.

The teeth would be a thing though. her's especially (she's blue btw, not green, that's a different troll)

There's a lot to be left to the imagination with Homestuck characters. I wouldn't fret over the appearance of a girl who isn't even drawn with a nose most of the time. Just cosplay her and have fun.

Vriska is probably not that pretty. She is a literal troll, fgs. She's probably more glamorous than she is good-looking, and you can pull that off with oodles of confidence.

Besides, matte grey face paint does wonders for the complexion.









And even if you're hugely, enormously fat, you can still be a canon-accurate Vriska.
