I always love hearing that spooky, vulnerable undertone to it. I always wished she had done a music video on it.

I liked that song -- until she went into that shitty spoken word part. Then again, I find that ruins most of her songs for me, so.

It's my favorite of hers, and proof that she can write a meaningful song that's still pleasant to listen to (unlike her current stuff, bleh)

Oh god, that song loves to spam my Pandora account and I LOVE IT. It makes me think of someone trying to save their best friend and/or love interest from an abusive relationship.

But seriously, did I make this secret in my sleep?!

I love it but hate the what a rip-off the musical part of the song is...

I personally don't like the speaking parts in it (I've never liked that in any kind of music though), but I agree.

I'm... not really interested in Lady Gaga, so surely I can't be the only one who read that as 'Pance in the Dark.'

Love this song, and "Monster" as well (as mentioned upthread), but mostly I feel this way about "So Happy I Could Die".

"So Happy I Could Die" is my favorite Gaga song! NEGL, when I saw her live I teared up when she performed it. TFM in general is just really great. There's not a song on it I don't love.

I agree 100% anon, it's my favorite song by her.

I hate most of her music but love this song, kind of wish it got a video :/

I love the whole album, but "Dance in the Dark" is God Tier.

I can't stand that song. So repetitive. And they play it probably every thirty minutes on the radio.

That's my least favourite of her pre-BTW songs

I love Dance in the Dark! No one ever plays is anywhere and the DJs never have it. makes me sad.

I also love So Happy I Could Die and Monster and Speechless and no one ever plays them either
