Not mad at the OP or anything, but I get kinda tired of when people think characters are albino without involving any of the aspects of it other than OMG THEY'RE PALE WITH WHITE HAIR AND RED EYES!!!!!! THEY MUST BE ALBINO!!!!!!

Well it's a fair point. That's pretty much the primary physical characteristics of an albino.

I know, I guess I just think it's weird when people start holding those characteristics to real life standards when there are characters with unnaturally colored hair and such. I would love more albino characters in media! It just bugs me when the other big parts of it like the vision problems are completely glossed over.

She's not even that pale. Her skin tone looks more like mine. I seem pretty pale compared to most people, but I will always remember how absolutely dark I seem compared to my albino cousin.

I sincerely think most people just don't know much about people who are actually albino.

The eyesight thing is also a really good point honestly. That's not even covering the sun stuff. I can't speak for everyone obviously, but when we were younger my cousin was terrified to stay outdoors for more than a few seconds at a time. Every freckle or odd discoloration was cause for panic and a genuine freak out of "OH GOD WHAT IF I GOT SKIN CANCER". I remember it being pretty freaking tragic at the time.

Not only that, but most people don't seem to realize most Albino people have blue eyes, not red. But anime "albino" has seemed to encompass what most people believe to be how it really is.

And it's not like this game kept to realistic eye colors and whatnot, at least two of the characters have gold colored eyes. :s

My cousin has pink-red eyes, but I do see your point. I guess it's a case of stereotyping even though most people don't consciously think of it as such.

To be fair Ultimecia possessed Edea just had really freaky eyes all together from what I remember.

I don't think it's "anime albino" but rather what we glean from albino rodents that caused that impression on most people.
