Trevor Bannister and John Inman had remarkable comic synchronicity. The show really lost something when Mr. Lucas left the cast, if only because of how well the two of them played off each other. In interviews he gave after Inman's death, Bannister credited Inman with creating the perfect rhythm between them, and it absolutely shows.
