I had actually been growing out my hair to then get it cut for a cosplay - but then I suddenly had to cut it much shorter than I intended, so guess I'll have to get a wig. Kinda bums me out, 'cause finding good quality short inexpensive wigs isn't easy.

I don't think I could ever rely on my hair for cosplay though since it's an overly practical cut.

I mean, it's not that I accidentally got it cut too short. I got some kind of weird hair damage, or possibly petroleum in my hair, I don't even know. But there was this icky patch that just wasn't going away, and I couldn't stand it anymore, so I got it all chopped off. Now I'll probably have to get a wig....
I keep my hair relatively short, but I can do longer-short or shorter-short, so I sometimes cosplay with it.
Being comfortable with your hair is more important than potentially cosplaying with it, though XDDD
