I'm assuming the one on the bottom right is a pokemon, but the cyborg unicorn is from the flash game Robot Unicorn Attack. (http://games.adultswim.com/robot-unicorn-attack-twitchy-online-game.html)

Not sure what Vdex is, but I do wish some of the shinies where different colors. Like if shiny meowth/persian was black instead of a slightly lighter shade of cream. There are no words for how much I want that to exist.

It's some sort of Pokémon collecting game. I've seen tons of alternately colored Pokémon, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was a black Meowth/Persian somewhere in there.

It is. I'm not sure where OP got that sprite or what Vdex is.

Vdex is kind of a pet site but based on Pokemon. You go around the map and you can collect mons, although the system is pretty different from the ones in the game. It's kind of a silly place, really. This thing was from an event on the site where they released ponytas/rapidashes in different colors for some reason.

For everyone asking what the hell they're looking at: www.vdexproject.net
There's not much to do yet (it's all coded and drawn by only one person and she's working on another project at the same time, so progress is sloooow), but it's a cute way to kill some time.

I find myself playing it more than I should just because it's so convenient and low-maintenance compared to other games. You don't have to wait for it to start up. You don't have to keep your gear repaired or constantly clean out your bags. You don't have to worry about getting stuck in the middle of a match/dungeon/whatever when you need to be doing something else. Just open a browser window when you feel like playing and close it when you don't.
It's like... I know I should be eating a square meal, but that bag of chips is right there, man.

The only reason I hesitate to play it is because I fear losing hours and hours in there. Must. Resist.
