Oh thank God, I had generally been left with the impression everyone everywhere loved this movie. I had a hard time even finishing this movie-- and I still can't figure out why every girl I work with was all OMG I LUV THIS MOVIE. Apparently I've just had to put up with one too many people like the Stepford-ish antagonist over the course of my life...?



Also the protagonist's wannabe love interest seemed like a generally nice guy-- which IMO there aren't enough of in comedies-- and she treated him like crap, which made me a sad panda for him.
