I don't get the hate for this character? Sure she can be a jerk at times but at least she isn't bouncing around, popping out of every where. "Look at me weee teee hee, wee look at me I'm sooo annoying. Oh look there is cake and cookies and let me eat them all and let me eat all the Halloween candy before anyone else eats and oh I'm going to be afraid of Princess Luna and call her Nightmare Moon and who cares if I really hurt her emotionally and boo hoo since nobody wants to come to the party the day after I held another party nobody wants to be my friend."

how can anyone stand that pink thing?

Pinkie was my favorite pony in season 1, but in season 2 I can't stand her :(

Oh thank God. I wasn't the only one annoyed by that.

And I actually like Pinkie. But there are times when, like RD, I wanna slap her senseless.

I actually like Pinkie and see her as cute and just hyperactive. But as for the Princess Luna thing, someone's suggested Pinkie didn't know Luna would be hurt - she probably thought Luna was just playing up the scariness for Nightmare Night.

As for RD, I personally don't like her because her jerkiness and obnoxiousness make me want to smack her, and because she tends to end episodes without really learning a good lesson, like at the end of the leaf falling episode, where she never admitted to her cheating and never really got called out for it. It just rubbed me the wrong way.

But as for the Princess Luna thing, someone's suggested Pinkie didn't know Luna would be hurt - she probably thought Luna was just playing up the scariness for Nightmare Night.

I wouldn't mind this excuse if it was addressed in the show and there wasn't multiple scenes of Luna trying to be nice and fit in which Pinkie clearly sees but decides to interpret as scary moments just for the fun of being scared. I get that she wasn't doing it out of malice but I felt like she should have at least apologised to Luna or let her in on the 'joke'.
