See, I don't really ship Nick/Monroe that much, though pretty much everyone I know does, and I'd be willing to read their fic, but I can't ignore the fact that Nick is in a relationship. I'd read my friends' work just to be supportive, but this is an issue. None of my friends go the way of bashing, but more the "ignoring Juliette exists" route, which is considerably preferable, but I can't forget she exists.

I just can't read it. :(

I don't really mind ones that ignore Juliette because I just come up with a backstory in my head that she and Nick had an amicable break up and she is now happy with someone else or something. I really prefer to have her there though, as a friend at least if they just want Nick/Monroe.

Personally, though, I prefer making it an OT3. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's the perfect solution for me.
