I guess he's not mad at her for disappearing on him; it's not like she had a choice if she wanted to live.
I am probably blinded by my interspecies OTPs. (JadeKat, John/Vriska, Dave/TZ and Rose/Kanaya. LOL. I fail to understand with magical ectoclonebiology why people should have to fall in love with their own species; and a gene pool of 20 is way better than 16 and a billion times better than 4.)
I don't think they look 13 even when Hussie is drawing them in any style other than the chibi-superdeformed-armless style, but a lot changes between 13 and 16. And I'm not sure I'd have wanted to spend those years with my goofy brother, a hot sprite of my friend with data knows what below the waist, and a billion carapaces and salamanders. LOL. I'm pretty sure I would NOT have wanted that.
