I remember watching the video for Valerie (the song is credited as Mark Ronson featuring Amy) and getting, like, irrationally irate that she wasn't in the video. For any that haven't seen it, instead of Amy the have a whole bunch of too-perfect cuties come up on stage and lip sync. I now now that she skipped the shoot to go on a vacation, but the point is that when I watched the video with all of the traditionally "pretty" women, it made me think about how interesting/gritty/real (or whatever) she looked, and how she might not have looked perfect, but you don't have to when you are that talented.

Of course, it would have been nice if she had looked a little more healthy, instead of so out-of-control skinny...
