Aww that's great, anon. I know how it feels. I was always so used to shipping het in a mainly yaoi-shipping community, so when I got my first yaoi ship, it was like I could finally actually read fics and participate in the kink meme.

Oh, how awesome! As the others said, you're not going to run out of fics anytime soon - I'm mostly a gen fan myself and I still haven't run out. There's tons of quality stuff out there. :)

Isn't it the best feeling?

I (platonically) ship them, and usually all I can find is Legolas this and Aragorn that.

I don't read LotR fic or ship Sam/Frodo but I'm glad you found a fandom you can be that excited about. I love the feeling of joining a new fandom and having a new ship and reading everything that exists for it. It's like a high :)

Something similar happened to me with Harry Potter, and yes, it is an amazing feeling. That was the first time I had looked into a huge fandom, and there is so much quality fic that I will be reading it until I die.

(And though I don't ship it, I think Sam and Frodo are kind of adorable together.)
