also for a fandom of that size I think pretty much everything you could want for has probably been catered to

As someone actually in the fandom, I can tell you that you're correct there. There really are hundreds of places to discuss things like this, both on and off LJ. Most of them are literally a five-second Google search away.

I was actually guessing in this instance, but having been in and out of hugely popular internet based fandoms for over 10 years, I figured things I'd seen elsewhere would be applicable to this one.
