Good for you, not backing out of the exchange because of this. I'm sorry that you're in that situation but I've seen waaay too many Secret Santa recipients not get their gifts and I think it's great that you're trying to do it anyway. I was actually in a situation where I requested a pregnancy fanart and never got anything (although I told the artist that I knew some people were squicked by it and that they could do something else if they didn't feel comfortable, but not everybody thinks of these things, especially in a secret santa where there's no communication until the gift is ready).
